This is a government water utility that supplies water to the entire city. Their wells are positioned throughout the city and site access is always a problem as they are always working in very restricted areas.
They opted for Boreline so that they can do all the preparations before-hand, in the controlled environment of their yard. They then drive out to site, back up to the well and install the pump and Boreline from the truck and straight into the well. In this way they keep work done at the well to an absolute minimum.
This was a 200hp, 1000gpm pump and motor set on a 700ft continuous length of 6” Boreline. No joints. No connections. No problem.
Once on site the pump was lowered into the well in a couple of hours.
